I am a ferroequinologist [Latin ferrum ("iron") + Latin equus ("horse") + Enlish -logist], or as railroaders call us, a foamer - frothing at the mouth, and usually with a camera in hand, whenever a train is spotted.   Steam is my specialty, diesel is OK.

I am also an avid amateur astronomer.  When the weather and work schedule cooperates you will find out under the stars, somewhere (usually the back yard).
