Astronomy along the Colorado Front Range can be challenging at best.  The mountain air wave makes it rare to have "good" viewing.  Most of the time it just barely rates "mediocre."  There is now a lot of smoggy haze and light pollution to add to the problems.  However, several of the images here have been taken from in town, so all is not lost.
